Finance Team Director for Education Business Solutions, Inc. (dba EdOps) to report to our Washington, DC loc. and may telecommute from anywhere in the U.S.
Standardize + maintain quality + scope of products regardless of geographic region of clients. Oversight + service delivery of finance services support to a portfolio of 10-25 schools. Lead efforts to standardize internal finance + accounting support processes. Primary decision-maker for policy, staffing, + organizational design issues for this portfolio of schools. Drive team to set up processes to monitor, understand + reflect on current processes + ensure that quality + efficiency continue to improve. Lead internal projects to improve quality + analysis to schools. Serve as primary leader to several manager-level staff (people mgmt. incl hire/fire, annual reviews). Oversee/contribute to development + refinement of products + tools that enhance the efficiency + effectiveness of team support to schools. Little domestic travel may be involved. Wage range: $161,887 to $163,000 annually.
Must have Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or rel field and 5 yrs rel exp in finance or education admin, and skills (2 yrs exp) in school finance. Alternatively, must have Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or rel field, 2 yrs rel exp in finance or education administration, and skill (2 yrs exp) in school finance. Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable.
